Dental Implants

Dental implants effectively replace the root of a missing tooth, thereby allowing anchorage for a new replacement tooth (crown). A titanium implant is inserted and a small post fitted on top to support the final crown. Loss of teeth can impact quality of life, whether it be causing eating or chewing difficulties or limiting what you can eat, to being embarrassed about your smile and subsequently losing confidence. Dental implants restore both functional and aesthetic needs and so renew quality of life without any indication that the replacement teeth are not actually real.
